Needed Committee Chairs

Looking to help out with the PTO? If so we still have a few committees that need chair people.

The biggest of these needs is for a Silent Auction Chair for the Winter Carnival. The Carnival, along with Walk-A-Thon, brings in the majority of the money that PTO receives during the course of the year. Those funds help to provide supplies for the teachers, help to pay for additional programs like Accelerated Reader and the newly added Accelerated Math, and bring in people to speak to the children. With extra money this year we have also replaced the soccer goals outside and given $15,000 to the school to help buy new iPads so that we can get to a 1:1 ratio with them to the students.

Trunk or Treat
Bedtime Books
Spirit Wear
Community Partners – Community Partners needs a few people to work on different things. One of these is dealing with things like Coke Rewards and Labels for Education. The other part of this is dealing with our monthly community nights like Chick-Fil-A and others.

We will have more information out tomorrow at the ice cream social but just wanted to let everyone know that this is some of what we are looking for.
